We are a first generation beekeeping family, helping our bees do what they do best! 

We have always enjoyed country living and wanted to contribute to Australia’s vibrant agricultural sector. It brings our family a lot of joy and pride to be part of our beekeeping industry; producing high quality, raw and 100% Australian honey.

After starting with two beehives back in 2012, we found beekeeping was the sweet spot where our training and experience in rural science and business development could co-exist.

We are proud to be a first-generation beekeeping family and excited to raise our young family in an environment where they too can grow their appreciation for agriculture, the environment, and be a part of our business.

A key focus of our vision for Queen of Hearts Honey Co. is to help our bees do what they do best. We do this by applying modern technologies and management techniques that support strong colonies. In doing so our bees are better able to manage pests and disease themselves and require less intervention by us. 

Bees provide vital pollination services to agricultural crops and native flora; they are essential for the pollination of around 65% of agricultural crops alone. We are pleased to offer strong colonies for short-term pollination services to support our agricultural sector more broadly; not to mention help ensure you have access to the clean, fresh produce that you enjoy! 

Another sweet bonus of this service is the delicious, seasonal honey the bees produce as a result of the invaluable role they play in our environment. 

When not pollinating specific crops, such as Almonds and Oranges, we target various nectar flows across the region to ensure our colonies have what they need to stay strong and healthy. 

As a result of our approach, you will notice that our honey varieties are labelled by the season in which they were created purely by the bees. We know we could not do a better job ourselves. As each season varies, so too do the range of nectar sources available to the bees from which they create each season's delicious and unique blends. It is always exciting to discover the different flavour each season brings.
